Communication between CPU Siemens Simatic S7-300 with Profibus Master Slave

Hardware yang dibutuhkan:

2 unit Siemens Simatic S7-300 dengan Profibus DP interface
Kabel RS 485 standard dengan Profibus connectors
Software Step 7

caranya:

Buka software the Step 7’s SIMATIC Manager
start a new project secara manual atau wizard

Start configuration dengan double click the Hardware icon in the project window

The HW Config window dibagi menjadi 3 bagian. Bagian atas untuk menempatkan module terpasang, bagian kanan adalah tempat katalog peralatan. langkat konfigurasinya:

pilih rail mounting – SIMATIC 300 -> RACK-300 -> Rail
slot pertama selalu power supply. tetapi bisa juga dikosongkan
slot kedua adalah cpu – coba diisi dengan jenis cpu 314C-2DP
- CPU memiliki protokol profibus DP, maka muncul pop-up konfigurasi profibusnya secara otomoatis
- klik New Profibus koneksi untuk dibuat koneksi baru dan mengkonfigur nya
- Pilih Profile DP dan kecepatan koneksinya, standarnya 1.5Mbps
- A profile DP and the speed of connection should be chosen. Using short cables in laboratory’s environment a speed of 1.5 Mbps may be used
slot ke tiga bisa di isi ethernet module jika diperlukan

hasilnya akan terlihat pada gambar berikut

cara diatas diulangi untuk CPU s7-300 sebagai slave DP, perlu diingat untuk setting address yang berbeda dari yang sudah ada. di DP parameter setelah konfirmasi, doble-click di DP parameter di slot slot kedua rack (di Slave_DP configuration). akan muncul Properties DP window, set DP slave option

save configuration. Warning windows akan muncul karena lack of the connection antara 2 devices Profibus. untuk menyelesaikan problem Master_DP, buka configuration window, Form the equipment list pilih Configured Stations->CPU31x and dragged ke connection line

Set The parameters seperti gambar berikut. Then OK

Sekarang cek consistency test : Station -> Consistency Check. setelah ok, configuration bisa di download ke PLC serta test di program
